2018 Annual Conference Session

Welcome to the 2018 Mountain Sky Area Joint Annual Conference Session registration!  

This is a call to conference for the people called United Methodist of the Mountain Sky Area! This year, we will gather June 7-10, 2018 in Ogden, Utah at the Ogden Eccles Conference Center. This will be the first time the Yellowstone and Rocky Mountain annual conferences will be coming together for an annual conference session. Our theme is based on our quadrennial emphasis of “Living into Beloved Community,” with a missional focus on “Safety, Homelessness & Justice".    

During our time together, we will “draw the circle wide.” Like any family reunion, we will renew old relationships and discover new ones. We will celebrate the oneness we experience through Jesus Christ and revive our souls through passionate worship.

The Pre-Conference Orientation will provide basic information needed for delegates and will introduce new delegates to each other and some conference leaders. The Pre-Conference Orientation will be held on-site at the Eccles Conference Center on Thursday, June 7 at 10:00am.

Transportation via charter bus is available at no additional charge to all Voting conference members.  All buses will depart on Wednesday, June 6th and arrive in Ogden between 7 and 8 pm.

Seats from each location are limited and will be reserved on a first come-first served basis.

If you would like to travel to Ogden via bus, please choose your departure location.  Additional information about exact location and departure times will be emailed to you about a month prior to AC.

I/my child will attend the Mountain Sky Area Joint Annual Conference from June 7-10, 2018, in Ogden, Utah. I will not hold the Ogden Eccles Conference Center, Ogden Parks and Recreation, their staff, the event leadership, the conference staff, or the Rocky Mountain Conference responsible for any injury that may occur. I also give permission for any emergency medical or surgical treatment for myself/my child, if needed.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Due to contractual obligations with the Ogden Eccles Conference Center and the Bigleow Hotel regarding meal counts and meeting room usage, cancellations have a financial impact on the Mountain Sky Area. All cancellation requests must be submitted to registration@rmcumc.com or tyler.amundson@yacumc.org

Cancellation requests:

Requests received by May 10, 2018 are eligible for a full refund of fees paid. 

Requests received after May 10, 2018 and before May 24, 2018 are eligible for a refund of fees paid less a $50 cancellation fee.

Cancellations received after May 25, 2018 will be considered for refund on a case-by-case basis.

All refund requests must be received by June 30, 2018. Approved refunds will be issued by August 31, 2018.

HOTEL RESERVATIONS

Hotel reservations need to be made by the individuals. We have secured room blocks with several locations. Hotel information can be found on the Conference website or by clicking https://www.mtnskyumc.org/JointACregistration2018
